This is my first post about delicious restaurants, so I'm going to introduce you to my favorite restaurant in my neighborhood!! It's an Italian restaurant called "Runico" that serves home-style food, and it's always clean and casual. I love it so much that I go there at least twice a month!!

As you can see on the map, there's a street called "Yeoljeong-ro" where many young people have created their own restaurants. Yasnoyaji (lamb gingsukan, so popular that it's hard to make a reservation), which is right next to Runico, and Ichizu (Japanese style shabu-shabu), which is diagonally across from Runico, are both on the same street. These two restaurants are both super delicious, and I go there often, so I'll write about them when I get the chance.

Runico1F, Runico, 11 Wonhyoro 80-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea One of the best things about Runico is that the food changes slightly and gets better every time I go, which makes me surprised every time I eat there. I love it even more because of the delicate flavors and good service I always receive.

I live nearby, so it's not a problem for me, but the one thing I find a little frustrating is parking. There is a small public parking lot under the bridge nearby! (The turnover rate is fast!)

Except for Fridays, I haven't had to wait in line too much. It's a popular restaurant with locals and people from outside the area. Foreigners often come in to eat alone. (I'm a local, so I'm sad that it's closed on Sundays.) The inside is small, so if you're coming from far away, I recommend making a reservation.

Menu

All the dishes are delicious, but the uni pasta (with extra uni) is especially delicious, and it's something I can only eat here. I make it a must-have and then add steak or appetizers and pasta. I also like the fact that the price is not too expensive.

I'm someone who can only eat tuna belly and flounder fins when it comes to sashimi, because I can't stand the fishy taste. But this is not fishy at all. It's actually a really creamy uni and uni flavor that makes me so happy every time I eat it.

It looks more beautiful before you mix it, but Melanzane is an appetizer that I really like!! I don't like eggplant, but this is so good. It has a unique bitter and pungent flavor that I order often! It goes well with white wine. Salad! I'm a meat lover, so I hate salad, but I love the salad here!!

I order it once a year, and it seems like they change the salad every time, so I guess they change it every year. Steak! The side dish is potatoes, and there's sometimes greens on top, sometimes not. It's a steak that's under 50,000 won, but it's so delicious for the price that I usually order it with the uni pasta.

When it comes to appetizers, I often order bruschetta when I want to eat something light and clean. It's a dish that really stimulates my appetite. I usually eat things very blandly, so this is a little salty for my taste, but the oxtail pasta I ate was the most delicious pasta!
